Katarzyna Liwski, DO

I am a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist working in the outpatient clinic at the NYU Langone Child Study Center. My work is guided by curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to meeting each patient exactly where they are. Whether I am playing a game with a child, talking through challenges with a teenager, or collaborating with an adult, I strive to create a supportive environment that fosters trust and healing.

I specialize in treating a wide range of conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, autism spectrum disorder, tic disorders, and complex psychiatric presentations. With more than a decade of clinical experience, I bring both thoughtful psychopharmacology expertise and a dedication to comprehensive, personalized care. In addition to my clinical practice, I direct psychiatric clinical trials to expand access to emerging treatments, and I also have the privilege of teaching and supervising residents and fellows as they grow into the next generation of psychiatrists.

Becoming a physician and building my career in New York City has been a dream come true, and I am deeply grateful for the path that brought me here!
